Butterfly ‘steals kiss’ from frog before taking a break on its head
A group of picture has shown a bright yellow African queen butterfly appearing to kiss a dumpy tree frog on a branch, before taking rest on its head and crawling all over it.
The pictures are taken by freelance photographer Kurit Afsheen outside his home in Tangerang Baten, West Java, Indonesia.
“I think this is the story of a butterfly who wants to make friends with frogs,” the 39-year-old photographer said. “I spent about an hour taking a picture of the frog as it climbed along the twig about a meter from the ground.”
Dumpy tree frogs, also known as white’s tree frogs, live in rain forests and other tropical wooded areas, although their hometowns are Indonesia and Australia.
