Saturday Funnies~ Snook style
Saturday morning comics, on TV, was something every child looked forward to if you are over a certain age. The age of only five television channels to pick from. All channels went off the air at midnight and came back on the air at about 6 am.
When you were a child you were lucky to have one television in the house. This meant the chances of you being able to watch what you wanted to were slim to none depending on where you stood in line on your family tree.
The Saturday morning cartoons were the one time each week the television stations dedicated three to four hours of programming just for children. If you were lucky enough, you were able to watch a few shows before you had to get your Saturday morning chores done.
With this in mind, I give you the video below of outtakes from the interview I did with @jackmiller for my show 'Pants are Optional'.
If you get all your chores done today, I hope the video brings some laughter into your life for a few minutes on your Saturday.

I did look forward to those Saturday mornings as a kid. For me it was one TV set and two channels. And who could forget that nice "test pattern" after midnight.

That was the show early on Saturday mornings here in OZ once upon a time!

It was the show of shows.
think it was on like at 05:00 or at 06:00 not sure now, would wake up, as mum got ready for work and watch it on the weekends.
It was a killer show for its time!
we had a few shows with those 'puppets' on here and yes!!!! they were the best shows made at that time!!
although, today I think that if they were to air the shows made in the 60's and 70's most of it would be BANNED by these modern day extremists who just do not have any tolerance towards anything or anyone who is not in line with "their line of thinking".
