Panic in Portugal

Having a Quinta in central Portugal with lots of land sounds very idyllic but this year it is different. The Government and local authorities are implementing very strict fire regulation with a fist of iron regarding the clearing of trees and undergrowth close to villages and houses. Clearing has to be completed by the end of May otherwise there are heavy fines.
This is all due to last years fires with sadly a number of casualties.

So it is panic stations !!! I was in Portugal in March organizing the clearing of my land to the local government requirement, so now I am ok at last but on the plus side I have brilliant views now
