Lesson from Panda 3

​Am not a movie reviewer or a critic but after watching the movie 'Panda 3' I will say it is one of the most educative and inspiration movie, youths who are still yet to discover their potential or believe that they are unable to do anything should watch. Please note this is not movie review, but I learnt certain lessons in this movie which I could relate to certain life instance and events in the bible. So today I will be writing on life lessons from the movie Panda 3.

1. You can be whomsoever you want to be and achieve what so ever you want to achieve.
   Hey guys I want you to know that there is nothing you cannot be once you put your mind to it. The panda never believed that he could teach, he never believed and people never believed that he could save the world and be a true master.

That is so in life, no body believe you can achieve certain things, people a times might have told you that nothing good can come out of you. They might have told you that you have a destiny of a slave and can never be great, it not true. It was the same in the time of Jesus our Lord, nobody believed that Jesus could save the world or be great or perform a miracle because he was from the tribe of Nazareth, somebody even said, can anything good come out of Nazareth, this means that nobody expected anything great from that city even if the messiah, the son of God was there.

But I will tell you this, it is a lie, you can be great, your background is not the determinant of your success in life, you the one.

1. You need to take risk and try new things or else you will not discover your true potential and can never achieve more than what you have achieved.
   It is quoted that it is foolishness to do the same thing the same way and expect a bigger, better and different result. Thing will be as they are until you try something new and do something you have never done before.

In the movie Master Chi said this quote which is very true "if you only do what you can do, you will never be more than you are" this is very true, and I can say this in another way, if you do thing the same way people have being doing it, you can never achieve something different. Do new thing, take new risk, do not be discourage if you fail at the beginning, try it again, it took Thomas Edison 1000 times before he could finally get the right way to make the electric bulb, try harder, keep doing it, people might not support you at first do not be discouraged, read the story's of the maker of the popular chatting app WhatsApp.

1. be who you are, be yourself, don't try to turn to others / become others. You are different.

Do not try to be the person above you, be who you are, it is being unique that makes you stand out from the crowd. Until you are unique and stop trying for be others, true success may never get to you. Many people have failed and are yet to be successful because all their success is to someone else.
Do not go with the crowd, please be different. Discover your potential and gift and run with it.

1. Focus on your area of strength and develop your gift: panda in the movie when he was motivated to train the other pandas, he encouraged them not to be like him, but he trained each of them in the area of their strength. He trained those who liked swinging to swing and use it as a weapon, he weaponized the skills of each of the panda, most noticeable ones are, and he trained the rope dancer to fight like Bruce lee.
   I will tell you a truth, God will use your skill and talent to make way for you to the top, sharpen your skill and talent build it up, that is the way to get to the top. It was the skill of David as a Sheppard boy that took him to the top; it was that skill that helped him defeat Goliath and made him the body guard of the king.
   It was the skill and gift of Joseph as a dream interpreter that brought him out of Prison, to the Palace and eventually made him a prime minister.

2. Success is the battle of the mind not the fist or hand.
   Until you begin to think like a success, you might not be a success. Remember whatever you can think of, you can achieve. Anything you can imagine in your mind can be a reality. Imaginations are images of the mind.

The closing song in the movie says
‘It is not the battle of the fist but the battles of the mind, when you don’t know who you are, just look inside
You just have to try more, try to be who you are
You ought to fly, step into the fight and
Soon you will find somewhere deep inside,
There’s a universe right there waiting to be unlocked
The key lies in you being yourself
Discover who you are and be your true self.’

1. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and that you can make it
   You need to be surrounded with people who believe in you that you can be whatever you want to be, people who will support you even the going doesn't seem well
   I will recommend you watch this movie, not as a cartoon but as a message.
