Hi people of Palnet, this is my introduction to I hope an improved version of Steemit

Hi everyone,

My name is Tim, I am originally from Belgium and together with my two kids, dog and my lovely girlfriend I live in this converted American school bus. It is a hostel on wheels, so we take people on board for 7 or 10 days and live life on the road with them, showing the beauty of this country and doing lots of stuff together (like hiking, having great meals together on our roof top deck and playing games). At the moment we are touring around the North of Norway, so if anyone that reads this is in the neighbourhood, feel free to drop by for a coffee or a beer :)

The first reason that I am writing this post, is because I kind of have the idea Palnet could be a second chance for me to start writing and interacting on the Steem blockchain again, because I really feel that Steemit is quite flawed and I have given up hope on the blog part of Steem to ever become a real and honest thing, so I have just been posting about Steemmonsters from time to time, because that is my main interaction with this blockchain at the moment, but I would like to write more about what else is driving me in my life, so I hope to see you around palnet!

The second reason that I am writing this post, is that I just had to rebuild our whole website because it was filled with bugs and was becoming slower by the day. At first I just wanted to copy the old site, but I decided to go for a complete fresh start and I must say that even though it took me a couple of days extra to finish it, I am really glad I did. Sometimes you get stuck if you see the same thing over and over again and believe that's the only way things can be, so starting from ground zero can give you a new perspective and a great boost, which is exactly what it did to me.
