"did you hear about x" indeed exactly what it does. I just ignore those conversations, although friends and colleagues don't ask me anymore as they know I could not git two hoots most of the time. I ask people what they have done or experience recently. Try and pull them into reality and get them exploring the world around them. Small steps, we are getting there 💯🐒
