PALcoin decimal precision changed to 3
Please note that the decimal precision for PALcoin has changed. You can now send 0.001 PALcoin to someone and trading will be this precise as well. We apologize for the earlier inconvenience. You'll now be able to get rewards that are in fractions making it easier for people with fewer staked PAL to earn rewards.
We see this as a highly democratic change. It's the first to be changed. There may be problems. Please be patient if any difficulties arise because of this change.
Happy Steeming on palnet.io!
I am still not seeing a fractional vote yet. I have voted @bitcoinflood, @coolguy222 and @phoenixwren's comment. The upvote value is still not in fractions. It is showing some wild values: 24 PAL, 11 PAL and 11 PAL. Also, the total upvote on this post is showing 2478 PAL. Vote values are varying all the time. It looks like there are still lots of bugs.
I was watching my PAL last night and it was doing the same.
9 PAL one minute, then 0 PAL then back up.
Probably because of the fork......
Hang on tight LOL 😊
@taskmaster4450 was showing some wild numbers in his post about it, but when I looked at my PALnet, it looked okay. So maybe there is some adjustment time needed.
Most likely going to be off and weird for a bit as the background workers catch up give it till tomorrow I would think 😀

Funny story with the lack of precision support. When I built the claimdrop feature initially, I spent ages writing and rewriting my code because I thought I had a bug, turns out some of the claimants were entitled to fraction rewards (eg 56.2) and some users were not, and the errors weren't really giving any info until I realised the precision didn't allow it, haha.
