3/2020 | Art and Craft | Custom-Made Birthday Greeting Card | Tutorial
Greetings Crafters of Steemit, this evening I am going to share from my "2019 Birthday Greeting Card" folder.
Most of the details are shaped to purpose and individually embellished.
In my opinion, it's important to get into the habit of modifying and re-purpose your purchased die-cuts to obtain an "out of the ordinary", original product.
Trying to capture what the costumer is visualizing could be difficult but not impossible! Sketching and handling colored paper while discussing the outcome, not only will help the costumer get a grip with reality but you'll feel quite grounded yourself by pinning the color scheme.
Here, all the components are shaped and the assembling begins.
The card in question needed some depth to it to fit the music component.
All cardboard letters are painted, cupcakes decorated, the violin is stringed and the smiley faces are up for the party.
Dan's 21st Birthday.
