Waiting For Consensus On Cannabis
Researchers in Israel, the United States, Jamaica, Canada, and other regions, have been aggressively pursuing cannabis investigation for decades now.
In Israel, one organic chemist by the name of R. Mechoulam has contributed to groundbreaking discoveries relating to cannabis but even he admits that it would take decades of clinical work before many would be convinced of the truth. Scientists working on studying cannabis are still hoping and pushing for more acceptance in the general public and scientific community.
Thanks to their dedication and work, cannabis is increasingly being considered a viable treatment to a wide range of illnesses including epilepsy, PTSD, chronic pain, and much more.
Still, you can find a variety of scientists that insist more investigation is needed to be sure that cannabis might provide medical remedy. They say that we still don't know the long-term effects that might be associated. But for those who are suffering in pain today they don't have decades to wait.
You can't blame those individuals for wanting to move ahead of the majority on this one, to want to find out for themselves what this plant might be able to do for them.
And even though you can still find many doctors out there today who are insisting that there are no medicinal benefits to be reaped from consuming cannabis, there are millions of others who will gladly insist and demonstrate otherwise.
The research on cannabis continues to prove valuable, paving the way for one drug company or another that might be looking to develop new drugs that can help address a myriad of potential health issues. Prohibition has made it difficult to investigate cannabis but slowly the restrictions have been lifted in recent years, with more scientific studies relating to cannabis being launched at universities and other labs around the world.
Mechoulam has been previously referred to as the father of cannabis for his work in discovering the endocannabinoid system and for synthesizing THC.
They insist that the naturally occuring yet unstable CBD acid is roughly 1000x more potent than regular CBD when it comes to binding to a serotonin receptor which scientists believe is linked with alleviating anxiety and nausea. For a substance that they don't believe has any known negative side effects, this could mean great things ahead for those who are looking for some relief.
Despite the investigation on cannabis that some researchers insist still needs to take place before more widespread consensus can be established on the medicinal properties of this plant, the market continues to grow.
There are millions of medicinal cannabis users worldwide and they aren't waiting for anyone to give them the go-ahead that they are making a wise decision. For some, it's helped to save their lives.
For improving quality of life, every individual should have the freedom to explore whatever peaceful medicinal treatments they feel might help, and for many that means cannabis. Unfortunately though, despite the great strides that have been made on conducting various studies etc, many individuals are still arrested over cannabis, families torn apart, and the government in general continues to pretend that there isn't any medicinal benefit to be had.
It would be foolish of the state to use violence to prevent individuals from exploring the full potential that this plant has to offer. Because what we have discovered so far has been vastly positive and encouraging.

There’s so much that scientific research can accomplish in the field of cannabis, we’ve only just scratched the surface. I hope scientists continue to gain more freedom to fully investigate the many uses of this plant.
Really good article. A good read.
My first introduction to medical cannabis was through Rick Simpson and RSO
He has plenty of documented evidence of its use in the treatment of Cancer. Why would you want to synthesize cannabis other than to patent it to make more money for big pharma.
Why change something that has never killed anybody in its thousands of years of use.
Nature gave us this wonderful plant so lets use it.
his story is inspiring! no doubt it has brought many people to experimenting with the oil to see if it might help them as well
@doitvoluntarily, It will be great if people introduced to Natural Medicine and Treatment because in my opinion current Medical Space became a business and masses are failing to afford Medical Services.
Have a wonderful time ahead and stay blessed.

Love the direct feed hydro setup with the tiny plants... Wow...
And yeah decades ? Got a child here wanting CBD and the state is demanding she go through chemo again after she is already done 2 rounds of it and was cleared...
The people see the effects. Only a government employee wouldn't notice.
Drink, drink, drink to your heart's desire but don't touch the evil weed. Politics and power plays. Doctors cash in on the pharmaceuticals. The ones that don't have no problem upholding the medical virtues of cannabis. From the son of a conservative U.S. MD.
Yes friend, today there are many benefits that have been discovered in this wonderful plant and there is a lot of variety even in France a beekeeper is made honey through the good work of his bees of various types of cannabis greetings excellent information ..
I read your article, I liked it very interestingly. I want to wish good luck to scientists so that they can quickly prove that marijuana is bypassed to people.
Great post
