RE: Which tokens would you invest in if you have 1000 STEEM laying around?

I agree with you that would make the most sense... But I think Aggy has hinted that DEC might be "in demand" at some point soon, and thus rising in value... I have several ideas of what it could be that makes the DEC rise in value, but until we see it, then we can't really analyze it.

I would say this though, if the cards ever are worth more because of an ever increasing player base (or demand for DEC via other sources), then DEC could certainly rise above the "$1 per 1000" peg because people would burn the cards if the prices of DEC were higher. IE if DEC went to $2 per K the cards would have to be worth double or they would be inundated with cards burned. So demand for DEC itself can actually cause the value of the cards to rise, the question will be what makes demand for it rise and how many cards would be burned to bring it back in balance. I think we are seeing a preview in the alpha market where the sellers dry up and then there is a gap when very few people are left to sell.

yeah, Aggy and Yaba definitely have some dec sinks in place, especially with the guilds coming up. So the demand could go up and the price could rise above the 1 usd per 1000 dec, but that would mean orbs are going to be very expensive (5$ for a pack if it rises to 2 usd per 1000 dec), that in itself would not be a problem I guess and probably also drive up prices more, now imagine being able to buy cards with dec... hmm maybe dec is a good investment... But I earn a decent amount playing, so.. So many questions..

lol... yes still many things we don't know :P

and as far as buying cards with DEC, that would be very convenient. That's the main thing I've done with my DEC (sold it and bought more cards with it)... So going direct will just make it much easier ;)
