Kraken Punks Steem Again. Tron trading begins soon. #jessiedripsweaksauce
Are we really supposed to believe that exchange Kraken is a leader in blockchain token exchange trading? For years Kraken and it’s “leader” Uncle Jessie has turned their nose up to the Steem blockchain even though many of their customers are actually Steemit users. Why would an exchange who brags that they don’t let “shit coins” to be listed on their exchange overlook a blockchain token that has deep roots, rated highly on the Weiss Scale only to pull their pants down to a corrupt Justin Sun who claims falsely that he was attacked by hackers? This email below was sent to me this morning by Kraken but I’m no fool.....I will never open an acct with Kraken until they start taking REAL tokens more seriously. The Steem blockchain works to well to be ignored. Tron......what a laughable joke Jessie.

We are pleased to announce that TRX (Tron) will be listed on Kraken starting March 5.
What is Tron (TRX)?
Initially launched as a token on Ethereum, Tron (TRX) has since evolved into its own platform designed to fuel new and experimental blockchain-based applications.
Indeed, Tron has emulated more than just Ethereum’s vision for creating a decentralized web – Tron also uses its Solidity programming language, enabling apps to easily switch blockchains.
Powered by delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS), Tron allows anyone who buys TRX to vote on who can earn rewards for validating transactions and maintaining its history.
This process, by which TRX is locked and turned into Tron Power (TP), is similar to “staking” on networks like Tezos and Cosmos, though users can be rewarded with different levels of new cryptocurrency depending on their role in the voting process. Note: At time of listing, you will not be able to lock TRX held on Kraken in order to vote.
With DPoS, Blocks are added to the blockchain every 3 seconds, and valid blocks are awarded 32 TRX. A total of 336,384,000 TRX is programmed to be awarded annually.
The Tron Foundation, led by project creator Justin Sun, purchased BitTorrent in 2018 and has since launched a BitTorrent token on top of the Tron blockchain.
The Tron blockchain officially went live in 2018.

What time will funding and trading start?
Funding: Kraken will enable deposits and withdrawals for TRX at approximately 14:30 UTC on March 5
Trading: The first trades will start shortly after funding is enabled as sell orders cannot be placed until deposits clear (see the required confirmation times for deposits here). The initial trading minimum will be 500 TRX.
Updates will be posted on the status page near launch time.

I think it probably has more to do with the fact that tron has a market cap 20x that of steem. Exchanges want action, steem has no trading action. Simple economic business decision.

I can imagine them getting bribed to list TRX. Steem ain't bribing anyone, that's why we get left out of some exchanges. IMO

I don't know. This is a little bit of an emotional reaction tbh. You forgotten that there are many good people other than Sun in the Tron network. Let's try not to be tribalistic. The goal is to onboard them and show them a different way, rather than antagonise them.
I would agree than not everyone on the Tron network is bad or even agrees with Justin all the time. Bottom line is this post is not about Tron, it’s about how a “legitimate exchange” will not recognize Steem and let it be traded. They have never even tried it. Never talked about it. Never mentioned it. Kraken can kick rocks for all I care.
Tron have gotten a lot more marketing than Steem, it's not really an emotional thing. It's business and to them, Tron seems worth it.
This recent Twitter reaction has put us on the spotlight; Kucoin listed us immediately and after a while, others will. Like I've been saying, we should be building bridges, not burning them. We've not reached out potential yet but if we keep making enemies, we'll make it more difficult. That's my 2cents, I could be wrong or right. I'm only human

This email revealed A LOT to me about Kraken and ole Uncle Jessie.
They don’t trade Steem....they don’t deserve my business because they are not a legit exchange. Steem is a LEGIT blockchain and we don’t even get noticed by Kraken, we get treated like yesterday’s lunch meat by Kraken. I even own the @krakenkraken account on here 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I actually reserved it for them before someone else did because I thought they would have to add us soon. Buuuut they went for all the Tron fan boys instead, EVEN a few days after knowing Justin colluded with Binance Hobi and Polo which he owns! Kraken is down with fellas like that????? Jessie is officially a money hungry, power tripping clown in the eyes of the Steem blockchain for this in my opinion.

I mean TRX is actually a huge project so listing them isn't so farfetched. It's also important to note that even though Justin Sun is the front runner of that project, there are thousands of others in it and lots of them are good people.
The timing of it seems off to me though but hey, business is business.
Well Steem is also a large project, with real users and a token rated highly on every single Weiss report. Tron’s blockchain can’t even hold a candle to Steem in my opinion.....for many many many reasons.

I mean they have a leader who just shelled out millions of his hard earned money without doing enough due diligence to understand that his 65 million dollar stake MIGHT cause some problems. Had he known how serious this would get he may have never paid for Steemit. Ned misrepresenting and Justin was lazy or his “team” is an incompetent dumpster fire. This ninja stake was well known and talked about A LOT here and anyone willing to spend millions should have known . Not knowing EVERYTHING when you about to spend 10XXXL is reckless. So this SAME GUY has now spent more millions to market a chain he centralized to himself AND holds a grip of tokens is a great business leader????????? Heard about that shit. Haven't watched the YouTube recording of the meeting because of my exam today but imma get to it. Well shit, he's a rich mf and $10m may or may not hurt him. I really don't care. I just want Steem to be with us, the community and most importantly, I want something to be left. For what it's worth, I don't dick his dick is that long anyways 😆😆
Wait till you hear it cuz! Justin has NO CLUE how our blockchain works and he shipped Ned a mountain of cash for it. Justin better wake up and compromise in my opinion because this can and will blow up in his face if he chooses not to. I think there are things Justin can help us with BIG TIME and in turn make himself a pile of loot but he’s gotta realize there were social contracts made by Steemit Inc and contracts always matter. Even IF we can’t do anything legally the chain will fork and lots and lots and lots of users and content creators will leave. I’ll be one of them.
