Geez.. One after another.. Hacked then my credit cards?

Somewhere early last month, my emails were compromised and lucky thing I was awake and managed to mitigate the hack.

However today, as I was resting after a busy morning, suddenly I had numerous SMS coming on my phone... Thinking what could possibly be sending me text messages.. I decided to look at it and this was what I saw.

I was shocked and could not believe my eyes... My credit card was being charged with large large amounts... It came to the point of MYR12,000 which is about USD4k in the span of 5 mins.

I had to quickly call the banks to report the matter and to dispute these charges. All the charges were coming in from Godaddy.

Yeap.. GODADDY.!! Apparently there were more transactions trying to be approved but however it was rejected by the bank for transactions which were suddenly flagged as unnormal spending.

This is one of those days which really kills your mood and that disgusted feeling came back once more since it was only just 1 month ago where my emails and other accounts were compromised.

Starting to be extremely cautious of signing up for stuff and also what I install on my devices.
