AFCON 2019 Quarterfinals resalts: Ivory Coast v Algeria and Madagascar vs Tunisia.
Yesterday more drama happened in the Afcon Quarterfinals as the Greens of Algeria manage to defeat the Elephants of Ivory Coast in a game that ended 1-1 in normal time and 4-3 in the penalty shutouts. This is one game that any football lover could no miss out.
In the 20th minute who plays for Turkish Süper Lig club, Galatasaray S.K. scored the First goal opening goal for Algeria national team. Even though Rais M'bolhi made a super save that kept Ivory coast in the game, he could not hold on the pressure from the greens.
Early in the second half Baghdad Bounedjah of Algeria national team missed a penalty that could have put them two goals to nill and may finish the game.
But Jonathan Kodjia's 62' minutes goal forced the game in the extra time.
The went it to the extra-time without any more scored by ether sides only for the game to be decided in the penalty shoot-outs.
It was former Manchester City player Wilfried Bony and Serey Die who missed their spot-kicks which crashed out the Éléphants even though the greens had also missed one to end the game 3-4 in the penalty shoot-outs.

In the game of Madagascar against Tunisia, Madagascar could not afford to score a goal against a match more stronger side of Tunisia. like I hard early anticipated in my lost Afcon post Yesterday to end the game 0-3 in favor of Tunisia.
