PalmReading - an Introduction

I have been studying for about one year now everything I could find when it comes to palmistry, chiromanty, etc.

Now, many of you might still see that black haired gipsy wrinkled woman looking into your palm telling you your cursed, yeah yeah. Sure, there is a part to it. But, there is so much more to it actually. Well, first of all, there is the art of reading the hand in general, the fingers, the palms, the lines and the fingerprints. Then, there is the old traditions of vedic forms of analyzing a persons hand, there is the astrological view and then there is a medical, even a scientific view towards what a persons hand can reveal about a person.

So you see, one can spend days and weeks analyzing a persons hand, nails, whatever. So let me start telling you some basic things about how to read your moms hand and make her think you have psychic abilities, or check if your boyfriend is actually telling the truth about himself. Of course, this is not medical advise and please don't blame me if people bother you for reading their hand.

But before you become a palmreader, be aware of these three rules:

1. the only constant in the universe is change. So anything you see in a persons hand is a tendency and can be describing the current situation, but it has to be compared with all details, lines and nails etc., in order to create an overall picture. Lines and forms of fingers can change, if the person really changes, so thatmight be of value to keep in mind.

2. Hands real often look different than in illustrations. So know that there no "right" way for a line or a finger and you might encounter contradictions. Don't worry: that is ok and can be true too, because we all have characteristics that might contradict each other, right?

3. everybody has a negative and a positive. Try to give people an encouraging overall reading, where you show them the potentials and show them ways, how they can deal with their shadows / weaknesses or potential problems.

Ok, enough of rules, let's go straight to the hands!!

So let's start. First, we need to get an idea of the overall hand.

The shape and form of the hand can tell you a lot about a persons abilities, talents, ways of dealing with life, characteristics and overall way of being. There are various shapes of a hand, round or square, long or short, with long finger and a high or low thumb. All these details can mean a specific thing.

Now, we have two hands normally, right? And both of them have a different meaning.
The strong hand - or the moving hand - (it is the one people write with) tells us more about the conscious mind, the current moment and situation as well as the potential future if the person continues its life like it did so far. It is the "where you are right now and where you are heading to as well as what you can do with it".

The "weak" hand - or the stable hand - is a picture of the subconscious mind, talks about the PAST, thus our genes, our hopes, fears, potentials and talents. It is a picture of "What we got and what we could become".

Now something that might be really interesting to do, is, to compare both hands. Of course, we want the strong hand to look better than the weak hand, as it shows us how we dealt with our potentials, our fears, our life. So in case the strong hand looks similar to the weak hand, the person is on track, learns what she is supposed to learn, is doing, what he is supposed to do. If the strong hand looks "better" (aka the lines are stronger), the person did an excellent job. If there is positive lines that show only in the weak hand, but not in the strong hand, that might be something, the person could embrace, put more awareness to, think about. Got it?

Ok, now where we now this, let's look at the hands.

The shape can tell us something about overall characteristics of the person. Small handed people are dedicated and determined, they are practical and work with bigger standards (i hope this makes sens?) and don't care to much about details. Big handed people care more about details, are more of a patient and pensive kind, exact and specific workers. A solid, elastic and strong hand is a strong sign for a positive attitude and a optimistic personality, whereas a weak, carnal and sensual hand is a strong sign for a more sensitive, sluggish person. If the hand is dry and hard, the person might be suffering from anxieties and constant inner self-tormention (if in case this is a word).

So, let's check your best friends hand and check if they are positive, sensitive or practical? By now you might realize, that maybe, a hand is a little bit of both or even all of them. That is the norm, as people can be positive but still be hard on themselves etc. That is why it is important to check many indications in order to get an accurate picture.

Now, here is two types of hands. Tell me, which one is more of a practical person and which one might be rather sensitive.

You might realize, that it isn't very easy to clearly diagnose the type of hand. The first one is more of a multi talented, logical person, that probably is more patient and detailed than the second hand, which might be more creative and practical, but also a bit more crude (fun fact: this second hand is called philosopher hand due to its fingers.. but more to that later on).
