7 Characters of a hand

In the previous blog I was talking about the 4 types of a hand, or also 4 shapes of a hand. Linked to the 4 elements air, fire, water and earth, the hand shape is either round or square, long or short and with long or short fingers. But as you might have already figured out, about 4 out of 5 hands are somewhat in between two shapes or have characters of various shapes. This is quite normal and it is possible, that a person has the intelligence and mental strength of an air hand due to its long palm, but also the passionate fire because of the short fingers.

In order to make it a bit more easy, I also list the 8 classifications of hands, which give a different picture to how to read a hand. The combination of both might be a good idea in order to be more accurate.

Alright, so let's dive into it:

7 classifications

1. elementar (100% earth):
   a short hand, thick and wide with short fingers. People with this hand are rather slow thinkers and can be stubborn, might come off as rough, but are sure about what they like and dislike and are consistent in their lifepath.

2. useful
   square palm with short and dull fingers. This person is very practical who loves conventions, doesn't like change too much and loves traditions. They prefer to work instead of studying.

3. Spate shaped
   These hands are wider at the bottom, smaller towards tips of the fingers, the fingers however are straight. People with this hand are doers and ambitious, independent and they can be volatile. They aren't very interested in the intellectual environment.

4. the philosopher
   This hand is of a wide shape with gnarled fingers. Now, the gnarled fingers are an indicator for deep thinking and tons of dignity. These people are rather careful, logical, introvert and thoughtful, prefer analyzing instead of imagining.

5. Artist
   This hand has a conical form and is of a long shape. The hand itself is smooth and gets smaller towards the fingers. These people are very creative, can be impulsive and sensitive.

6. Idealist
   This hand is very long, the longest of all and of a tender kind. These people are deep thinkers, can be withdrawn from reality. They are typical dreamers, mystical and aesthetic.

7. the Mix
   This is a mix of the 6 forms from above. Most people might have this hand, which can show various characteristics. It makes sense, as somebody can be a dreamer and love the mystic, but yet be very creative and love art as well.

Now, here you have half a ton of hands, so go ahead and try to analyze them simply by their shape. In the next blog, I will give my opinion to the hands, so you can check whether you are on track or not.

Sidenote: it is fun to see if your intuition is strong. So go ahead and speak out what you "feel" about somebody, when reading their hand. You might be right!
