Painting at the Library... among other things! ♥
Hello everyone! I hope this day finds you doing well wherever you may be. ♥
I realized the other day I have not done a 'Painting' at the Library post in quite a while! It's not that we haven't been painting, it's just that I've been too busy to take pictures and post them!
Our library is fantastic, and I just love going there and participating in the different activities. Over the summer, they held two painting classes, one for some gorgeous fantasy flamingos, and one for some cute boats on the water. Here are the paintings that @SnekLady and I did!

We can't wait until our next painting class! Our library has been losing funding but they still manage to put on some fantastic programs.
This year's summer reading program was just fantastic. It was space-themed, with many relevant activities. The end of summer bash had an amazing array of things to do such as a gaming truck, outdoor and video games, freebies, prizes, Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. We were kept busy all morning and into the afternoon, and ended up leaving with a load of goodies! My teenage son was invited to join the D&D group at the local highschool, and he is excited to begin next week. Overall, just a wonderful library and a wonderful staff that cares about their community.
If you haven't visited your local library recently, I would encourage you to! Start going, start taking advantage of their programs before they are gone!

I am having that problem with photos I have printed for exhibits and such I don’t have enough walls to hag them in, when I move next I may need another room in the house for ore space LOL
Thanks for sharing off you artwork. My wife and kiddos went to the prize giveaway for the end of the summer reading program. Everyone came home with something in hand. It is a blessing to experience the library and all that it has to offer.
Sounds like fun!! I won a salt lamp which I had been wanting for some time, so that was cool! :)

Oh these are just absolutely lovely!!! Our library doesn't have painting activities 😥 and our local art museum charges several hundred dollars to take a couple hour painting class.. So my enjoyment is from gathering materials from the local craft store and my bedroom.. recently I started doing pours and I sold one on spot a few weeks ago!!! Much love!

I cant imagine paying that much for a painting class, yikes! These classes used to be $10 each, but they recently had to bump it up to $15 for materials. Not bad, in my opinion. We get a lot of fun for our buck. :)
Yes I was excited too because it was friends I've known for awhile but they don't really have the extra cash ever and it was an honor that they bought it!

I just love your painting posts and glad you shared.
My local library has a bunch of stuff mostly aimed at 'back to school' but tomorrow night is Astronomy night, with the local college providing telescopes. Should be big fun!
