DELTA FORCE - PAINTBALL
Hello Steemians
Today I'm going to talk about my day at Delta Force Paintball (Birmingham, Solihull). Me and 4 other mates went to Delta Force Sunday 3rd September. It was an early start waking up at 6am and getting there for 8:30. Once we arrived we got given our PPE (camo overalls, face mask, hopper - ammo mag, waist strap and a tube to hold more ammo.
After, we were assigned to a team, we were the green team fighting against the brown team. Next we got our ammo, we split 3000 paintball's between 4 of us which gave us 750 each (I'm so good at math) and then my other mate brought a special terminator pack which gave him 1000 paintball's, 3 smoke grenades and a energy drink.
Picture of my mate holding all the ammo.
After getting all of our ammo we were called to the front for a demonstration on how to use the equipment. Then we cleaned our visors on our masks and went out to get our weapons, before we went out to the battlefield we practiced at the firing range. Then the Marshall told us that we were going to have 12 rounds on 6 different maps.
It was time for the first match, we walked down to the map which was a game of capture the objectives. There were 4 huts and the team holding the most huts at the end of the game wins. Both teams went to their sides and the Marshall counted down from 3, on go we all sprinted to the first hut spraying our gun fire on the way. I waited at the first hut for a while and then ran around the right side for the flank and managed to get 2 kills, then got shot from across the map.

After we finished that map we had 5 more with a lunch break in the middle (I had a quick chicken and rice for them gains). So the 2ND match was defend the castle the 3rd was team deathmatch, the 4th was capture the flag and the 5th and 6th were team deathmatch.

The last 2 games we demolished the brown team which gave us the end of the day win. After the last match we were at a barrel arena which was quite small. The Marshall called us in and said we have got 1 more game, free for all and if you get shoot you just keep playing unless you can't handle it, you can run out of the play zone. He counted down from 10 as we all ran to try and find cover, I was in the middle facing my mate Ryan. On go I looked at my Ryan thinking he was gonna shoot me up, so I jumped behind some barrels for cover and shoots were popping off rapid, it was madness.
I peeked around the corner and Ryan was gone he got shot up too bad in the back and had to run out of the play zone. I on the other hand was still in there shooting loads of people and getting shot loads myself, it was mental. After that match we went back to the firing range to use up the rest of our ammo. Then we gave back the PPE and went to see the final scores and our team won. Then we patched back in the car and went home.
All in all it was a great day out and I recommend it for anyone looking to have a fun day out. They have loads of different locations across the UK.
