Overclocking Zotac nvidia GTX 1060 6G AMP edition on ethos
With default settings on 1060 6G GPU, hashrate for ether will be ~19 MH/s with a power consumption of ~90W. After overclocking hash rate goes upto ~24 MH/s with power consumption going upto ~120W.
Overclocking 1060 6G on ethos:
-> edit local.conf with the following config -
maxgputemp 90
globalcore 1460
global 4450
globalfan 85
-> run "sudo ethos-overclock"
-> run "r" (to restart, overclock settings require reboot to reflect)
and done.
PS: AMD and NVIDIA cards cannot be simultaneously overclocked on ethos.
