The London Underground, also known as the London Tube, is a rapid transit system serving Greater London and some parts of the adjacent counties of Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. The London Underground consists of 11 lines, identified by colors and numerals, which serve 270 stations. The lines are:
