Things don't get better if you repeat them over and over again.
This is a social network, which means that the only way to get any attention is to earn it - through social interaction. Do you go on the streets, tip someone on their shoulders and say:

please like and follow me.

?

I don't think you'd ever do that. So then don't do it online either...
