"Smooth Rock Shiver" Songwriting Challenge #23 by Morgan Washam

Hey everyone! I really want to thank you all for tuning into my songwriting blog here on steemit.com. The response has been amazing, and I appreciate each and everyone of your thoughts and comments.

Today marks day twelve of my catch up sessions from where I had a lag in my posts on the blog back in May. At this point, I have caught back up to where I should be on the blog schedule, and will be only posting new songs weekly from now on (likely on Fridays). I hope that you all continue to follow along, and I encourage you to get creative within yourselves and do things in your life that make you happy.

Today's song is called "Smooth Rock Shiver". It is partially inspired by one of the best music festivals that I've attended in recent years, called Canoegrass http://canoegrass.com. The vibe and spirit of everyone at that festival has been such a blessing for my soul. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this year's gathering on August 2nd thru August 4th. Although, if you are able to make it, it is one for the bucket-list. Simply great people and quality, down to Earth kind of vibes. I have never been to a festival where everyone was so kind and giving.

The tune is meant to be a fun toe tapper. The deep " Ahh oooo Ohhh's" are supposed to be frogs and other wildlife that one might hear while spending time in the outdoors having fun on the river or other water activities like kayaking, fishing or just getting inspired by nature.
