LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS....OH MY!

My human mom hikes.......A LOT! So, I asked her if she could take a couple of pictures for me of some of the places she goes. Now understand; I am an indoor only kitty. I don't even desire to go outside because I know there are things out there that would do me harm.

She says this trail is called Slumbering Bear. I say I don't think I'd go anywhere near a slumbering bear, or one that was awake for that matter! That trail doesn't look all that wide either. Where would you run to if you found yourself staring into the face of that bear? No siree-not me!

You can get a sense of this sloping downhill, and I know she's told me it's quite a ways to the end of this hill before it levels out. So I'm thinking that in a run, she'd likely tumble down that hill and with the amount of trees, well, it would be like bowling for dollars. It wouldn't end well.

She's also talked about the mountain lions that live in the same area, so for me, I think I'll just look at her pictures and stay inside where it's warm and safe and snuggly!

May the lions and tigers and bears leave her alone because I do love my human mom :) MEOW!
