If you are going to limb line fish, do it right!
Was really upset today to find old limb lines in the river unmarked. Fish was in the shallows and had been hooked for more than 24 hours. It had room to move do deeper water don't know why it was in the shallows when we found it. Legal limb line fishing 1st lines must be tagged with name and address 2nd, lines must be checked every 12 hours.
While I didn't get close ups of this fish it's hook wound was swelled and infected. There is NO reason to leave limb lines out and not check them!
What a big catfish. He would be in my skillet for dinner if I found him. A good bake in the oven would get him ready too. Yum!!
IDK that could be some pretty yuck eating. :o)
