The historical jazz bar「B-Roxy」in Osaka ｜ 大阪の歴史あるジャズバー「B-Roxy」
I played piano at live music club B-Roxy in Osaka Nihonbashi.
大阪日本橋のライブハウスB-Roxyでライブをしました。
B-Roxy is a live music club about 50 seats in the audience.
B-Roxyは客席５０席くらいのお店です。
A very attractive woman is running alone.
とても魅力的なママさんがひとりでこのライブハウスを切り盛りしています。
I am performing the piano here once a month here. It was a solo piano performance this time.
僕はここで、月一度ライブをしています。今回はソロライブでした。
This jazz bar is a very historical jazz bar.
この店は、とても歴史のあるお店です。
Masako Matsumoto, owner of B-Roxy, she was the first to start a jazz live music club in 1972. Since 46 years, the presence of charming, innocent, cheerful she is an important page in the history of Osaka's jazz.
B-Roxyのママさん、松本政子さんが最初にジャズのライブハウスを始められたのは昭和47年です。以来46年間、チャーミングで無邪気で陽気で、そして豪快なママさんの存在は、大阪のジャズの歴史における重要な１ページです。
In commemoration of the 45th anniversary, last year she published the magazine "B-Roxy THE MASAKO MATSUMOTO" and wrote her half-life.
45周年記念にあたる去年、ママさんは、雑誌「B-Roxy THE MASAKO MATSUMOTO」を創刊して、自分の半生を綴られました。
There are a lot of musicians appearing there.
そこには、たくさんのミュージシャンが登場しています。
Not only Japan, famous overseas jazz players were stop by her bar. Pat Metheny and others also said they came to the shop every time they visited Japan until the shop moved.
日野晄正さん、日野元彦さん、井野信義さん、益田幹夫さん、渡辺貞夫さん、古谷充さん、宮本直介さん、竹田一彦さん、中山正治さんといった、国内トップクラスのジャズプレイヤーがママさんのもとを出入りしていました。海外プレイヤーとの親交も深く、パット･メセニーなども、お店が引っ越しするまでは来日のたびにお店に来ていたそうです。
Even now this bar visit wonderful musicians.
今もお店には、素晴らしいミュージシャンが集まっています。

はい、このお店のママさんはとてもユニークで、とてもエネルギッシュなので、会うととても元気が出ます。ママさん自身がアーティストだとしか思えません（笑）ビーロキシーへ行くと、僕が若いころに憧れたプレイヤーたちの息遣いを感じます。
