KLEROS

With the growing demand for systems that provide their services online and supported by the security offered by the blockchain technology, this new platform appears, inspired by its author Federico Ast, in the systems Justice of Ancient Greece "...where he saw a system of justice driven by citizens based on principles that could be applied to the most flawed technology of today: blockchain...". Thus the idea began to emerge with the word kleroterion. Ast, observed this system of justice and taking the best of it, was given the task of realizing a "...fair and transparent system..." calling it Kleros.

Kleros, is a service that maintains and adjudicates quickly and securely "...a layer of blockchain dispute resolution that provides fast, secure and affordable arbitration..."

The goal of creating Kleros is to form a decentralized and autonomous platform of services that can offer users: an excellent arbitration with a fast, affordable and transparent justice. With the use of crowdsourcing and blockchain technology, it evaluates all complex tests and offers to solve legal problems and differences in a fast, safe and efficient manner. This open source project does not have jurisdiction over the real laws of each country, but this program, within its terms, can be used to intermediate, regulate and solve the possible differences that may arise when activating a contract in the provision of services over the Internet. . Kleros provides solutions solving problems without the need for an official justice intervention; providing optimal assistance to the justice system of each country, since it relieves congestion in the courts of justice because of the multiple conflicts that are executed and resolved in real life. This opens a space in the administration of justice so that Kleros is used to help in the evaluation and resolution of disputes between users that would normally be ignored by the dominant justice.

Kleros it is based on a resolution mechanism which is composed of subcourts, which are defined by categories. When the creation of a contract is activated, the users involved, go to select the details that will govern this contract for its integration with Kleros, selecting the number of juries that will be responsible for arbitration in any arbitrariness that is presented to priori; then, they will select the contract category and offer the relevant results with the justice and security that the system provides, which will be treated by people informed in the space. This platform also has an incentive system that ensures juries receive adequate compensation to continue doing a good job of justice.


Kleros it is easily used in arbitration in many instances, such as crowdfunding disputes, copyright conflicts, confrontations in decentralized social networks due to misconduct between users. Transparently, quickly and safely, Kleros is presented as the perfectly efficient tool to deal with these occasional problems in a fair and fast way.
