What is STREAMITY ?

Streamity is a platform that wants to reduce the high rate of fraud on internet between buyers and sellers.

Streamity is partnering with CIVIC, EOS and NEM to be compatible and effective in processing transactions.

The platform used is called streamdesk which will make use of FIAT for exchange. FIAT is transferred to the seller's account and the smart contract releases the cryptocurrency to the purchaser. The charges are greatly reduced in comparison to other P2P purchase methods while safety is maximized to avoid fraudulent activities.
Let's take a look at other P2P exchange platform that uses FIAT for their exchange, most times it is cumbersome and difficult.
A buyer will have to trust a centralized exchange with their money, in other to do a cash exchange, or rather a website where they find buy and sell orders. These create a huge barrier to entry and incur high costs while carrying a high risk transaction

An example of a competitor in this space is Local Bitcoins. While they connect users, they do not ensure the safety of transactions. There is no level of user reputation or credibility that can beat the trustless attribute of a smart contract powered escrow system.

This scenario is not limited to cryptousers alone, it also hurts the entire industry as a whole due to the difficult task investors go through to invest.

Streamity's streamdesk

Streamity have designed streamdesk in other to create a safer P2P transactions. They created an "escrow system" which is powered by smart contracts that eliminate any form of risk encountered by buyers and sellers during P2P transaction of cryptocurrency.

Let's say Bode is to buy steem from Sayo. Sayo does not trust Bode and Bode does not trust Sayo, Sayo wants Betty to send the cash first, while Bode wants Sayo to send the steem first.
This is what is faced in day to day exchange, that's why a third party like streamdesk is here. The smart contract will be triggered upon receiving bot the cash as well as the steem. Once triggered, it will swap the assets and release them to the relevant parties. This way Bode gets her steem and Sayo gets her cash without taking any risks at all.

Partnerships

To successfully integrate into the cryptocurrency market, Streamity is pursuing numerous partnerships with blockchains such as EOS and NEM for smart contracts.

For payment systems, Yandex Money and PayPal has already been integrated!

Streamity will continue pursuing partnerships and collaborations to improve the end user experience and bring compatibility to the platform.
