After reading this article, close your eyes and imagine a world where you turn on your shower and your TV turns off because no one is watching, then when you leave the shower and turn on your light in the room, you shower goes off, and then when you go to the kitchen your room light go off and you kitchen light comes on, and when you leave your house everything that is not needed goes off and your car starts and as you enter the car your your to do list is read to you, and so on... That will be a life with no worries about forgetting to do anything, a life free of set backs and a simple, fast, smart life.

IONChain

Befor I define IONChain its only proper to first tell you the origin on the world IONChain, now the name IONChain originnated from the Swedish physicist Arrhenius’s theory of ionization. IONChain is a Blockchain platform that uses Internet of Things (IOT) to design and automate transactions between smart devices. And IONChain will be the ions holding together the molecules that represent all devices across the universal IOT (internet of things)

Aim

IONChian is a nonprofit organisation that aim to solve the problem of ease of sharing, securiing, circulating and transaction of data , IONChain was founded in Singapore early this year (2018) with the one device one coin one code, IONChan aims at improving the ways data is interpreted and used, this will bring together smart devices letting them them them improve our life, even from the smallest point to the biggest, like the illustration above in the fantasize part in this writeup.

More Success Comes With More Problem To Solve

With more people getting more interested in the growing information world and value being place on information and the the third wave of global information technology is coming or should I say has already being,

It is expected that 1289.9 Billion USD will be invested into IoT by 2020. The number of devices with IoT software is expected to grow to 30 Billion within the same timeframe.

Now that's a huge number within a short time and the truth is, i feel it may even be closer, lets say 2019, the wave may already be... I leave that to your imagination.
‎The problem with this success are
• lack of data security and privacy
• ‎lack of ease of data sharing
• ‎lack of swift data circulation and transaction of data

These are some of the problems that comes with the success, many project comes up and get users data and the are never able to control their data again even when the project fails the data are still use for personal... And most times this data are hacked, not to talk of companies selling users data for personal gain. But IONChain is the solution to all this problems that are to come, seeing the future from now.

One Device, One Coin, One Code

Eailer I asked a question in the fantasize section of this writeup, how you will feel if you make money from all your devices and can use if for what ever you want at the end of the month and I guess you said "HELL YES" well this is what IONChain has in place for you, IONChain helps connect all your devices together, (different devices, your car phone etc) and helps then to work together for your good and in turn make you money while making your life easier. Using the the inherently decentralized architecture of the blockchain which itself is ideal for edge computing applications.

IONChain's ionization algorithm will enable each device on its IoT network to be a miner. “The system will accurately calculate the precise rewards from the functions [such as], data volume, time, ... space, and etc.” The long term vision is to partner with global manufacturers and physically embed ID codes into all smart devices. This will act as an identifier on the IONChain network, allowing devices to be unique, secure and standardized. This will be coupled with IONChain's software in the form of: data-conversion, data processing, data packaging tools, and nodes for their IoT backbone.

Inter Planetary File System (IPFS)

The Inter Planetary File System otherwise known as the IPFS has been Integrated into the IONChain to help solve the problem of data transaction speed without having to compromise the access to relevate data, by distribution of this data over multiple devices for storage.

IONChain Value Generation

The value generation process is divided into four categories:
• Value generation
• ‎Value verification
• ‎Value evaluation
• ‎Value confirmation

Now a brief explanation of the value generation process;
• Value Generation: at this stage the information is generated and processed, then stored in each individual smart device. The data gotten is converted into a standard format and then passed on to value verification to be verified.
• Value Verification: at this stage the data is verified through a PoW/PoS (Prof of work / Prof of stake) combination consensus mechanism unique to IONChain.
• Value Evaluation: at this stage the verified data is is authenticated and protected from double spend attacks(so that one particular data is not reused over and over again)
• Value Confirmation: this is the final stage of value generation process, in stage, data is confirmed, and IONC is generated and value is transfered.

IONChain Value Transfer

• Application layer
• Service Layer
• ‎Protocol Layer
• ‎Smart Contract Layer
• ‎Blockchain Layer
• ‎Data Storage Layer

All you need to know about all this layers as a none technical person like me is
• Application layer is the user interface layer of the IONChain.
• Service layer is an abstraction of the internal modules inside IONChain
• ‎Protocol Layer of the IONChain provides a unified access protocol at the protocol layer, including consensus protocol, network protocol, currency swap protocol, and so on.
• ‎Smart contract layer, Smart contracts are an important part of the IONChain. They are the bridges connecting blockchain layer with the applications.

• ‎The blockchain layer is the core of IONChain, and consensus algorithm is the most important part of the blockchain layer. In order to better match the features of IoT networkIONChainappliessome changes to the classic POSalgorithm. Upon addingour modifications, we have called this new algorithm IPOS.IONChain revises thealgorithm to match IoT requirements better, creating theIPOS algorithm. IPOS algorithm is the upgrade of POW and POS, and it is divided into two parts: electing a group of block producers and scheduling production. The election process makes sure that stakeholders are ultimately in control because stakeholders lose the most when the network does not operate smoothly

• Data storage layerIONChain provides two ways to store data on the blockchain, which are based on IPFS and BigChainDB. IPFS is an emerging standard for storing content addressable files

Use-Case:

As illustrated in the fantasize part of this write up, IONChain plan on embedding the IONChain protocol in diverse IoT devices from different manufacturing companies (www.ionchain.org/) so as to help this different devices you have in your home and office can work better for you and also generate income for you.

After ready this just as the fantasize part of this writeup close your eyes and imagine, your car and your house door lock exchanging data, and immediately as you park at the front of your garage, your garage door opens and as you turn off your car and leave the garage the door closes and your house door opens, then as you enter your house the light comes on, and then when you leave your shower and sleep on your bed, your aircondictional turns on and the light goes off, till you stand up from your bed. Everything exchanging data with each other, now that's a life and that's what IONChain has planed for you, because all IONChain Connected devices can be programmed to execute actions dependant on the data received from other IONChain Connected devices. This can be applied with multiple devices. Yes all the devices with the IONChain can be applied.
