RE: (Repost) Organ Harvesting in Haiti: A Webb Companion and Alternate Theory

Really interesting post and it's the first time that I've heard about a possible Haiti, Mayo, CF link for organ harvesting.

Can the organs survive for weeks or months outside of the body i.e. on the ship? Not sure if its true or not but I thought that organs needed to be removed and transplanted not too long after the person dies and/or when the organ is removed from a living person?

Looking forward to part 2. Keep up the great work @v4vapid

While that is correct that organs need to be transplanted as soon as possible, it is not necessary for other body parts such as corneas, ligaments, tendons, blood, skin, etc.

Part of Webb's theory was that transplants could possibly be conducted on board the Comfort. Also, that perhaps victims (identified as potential donors) could be harvested at times convenient for the recipient.

An excellent example of this is the Chinese government sponsored organ harvest of prison inmates. This is why I point to the proximity of the Forte Liberte Prison... prisoners are ideal donors. They can be pre-screened for suitability and they are basically on standby until the recipient is ready.
