As one of the 5 judges, and as an original artist also, I aim to represent the best original artists in this contest from our wonderful Steemit community. I am keeping my ears open for cover artists as well, don't worry but creating an original song is indeed impressive, especially if executed and performed well. 2. @senzenfrenz's "On A Plain" By Nirvana Cover Song
A really well played cover performance from you all. Very passionately played and sung entry and a lot of fun energy shared amongst you and this hit song definitely brings back that nostalgic feeling and memory of the 90s. There is nothing that can replace or top the sound of grunge rock. Thanks for sharing this cover with us, looking forward to your next entry.
3. @itslobianco's "We Are The Champions" By Queen Cover Song
This was a really engaging piano entry. Your hands were flying all over the keys and you performed this very well with an effortless breeze. Your skills on the piano clearly show, you were very comfortable switching up your speed and gears to deliver this fantastic rendition of a well-known anthem. 4. @mariajruizb's "Solamente Una Vez" Cover Song
You can serenade us at any given time of the day or night with your beautifully singing with a fullness of good intentions and pure soulful energy. The guitar playing by @danieldedosd2 is always the right amount of balanced chemistry and welcoming sounds of a serene ambience for your vocals. This indeed has a refined romantic lining to it both contextually and melodically. You performed it exceptionally well as consistent as you often do and this is no slight to your other great entries. 5. @wilins' "Maldita Dulzura" By Vetusta Morla Cover Song
You have been missed and we welcome you back once again. You have returned with another great showing. You are more than capable of writing your own moving and superb originals, so when you turn your attentions and talents to performing touching covers like this for this week, then you access the same energy and passion and transform it into a special performance that brings a highlight to the lyrics and sounds of a deep song woven with poetic strings of internal thoughts intentionally scribed for another, which you deliver with a settling tone.
