I played the keyboards years ago, and my wife tells me I can sing.. but that's it! I'm an avid listener though.
Well that sounds like being a musician to me! If you play the keyboard and your wife is right about your singing, you should join in on the open mic fun :)
I'd like to but I don't have the gear to do it, and my keyboard skills are 25 years old. I have simply forgotten how to play, and it does pain me.
That's too bad... It's never too late to devote some energy to it if you'd still enjoy it! It will come to you if it's what is meant to happen
