Hey you Steemzey little Openmic punks
I wrote this song yesterday and recorded to share very firstly with YOU.
I was missing the Songwriters Challenge, but then yesterday the inspiration hit me and I just had to put this one into play. Thank you Openmic peeps for helping me to unlodge the musical boat. I'm-a-sailin' ...AND I'm wearing shades to prove it.

What a stunning soundscape you've painted. I love that dissonant crash of a chord around 3:19, just before "I'm sorry..." Yeah, I agree with @lillym about the Fiona Apple vibe. I like this you you're showing here. So unique. So talented. So pleasantly deep.

Interesting and quite lovely composition, Sazzler! I can't help but hear a hint of "Basil" influence in some of the melody structures. Great performance and I love the shades, and your hair! :-)
Thanks PG! Definitely a good hair day, and there's probably endless hints of Basil in my life and creative expression - of all of my inspirations, he is the absolute coolest. Strangely, some of the melody structure was inspired by an 80's song, 'Sign Your Name' by Terence D'Arby, the bridge goes D, A, C#.
