When I read your post and saw you were intentionally working on highlighting the haunting tones of your vocals, I was thrilled to hear you take it to the next level - the harmonies were just a divine addition.

One of the highlights of my week I have to say, finding this tiny account that had not had too much activity for a while put this out there for us to listen it feels like finding a lotto ticket to me. I've been told more than once that I tend to gravitate to songs that make me cry. I have no intention of ever correcting such assertion, to me a song has to allow me to see into someone's soul, if only for a second.

The lyrics of this song are just beautiful, the melancholy, the hope to return to more simpler, happier days drawn out in a beautiful metaphor. I'm in love with this song, I've been listening to it for days now and I have no intention of stopping any time soon. - @meno

I just love that voice, seriously you drew me in with the emotional tone - but then that twang just worked so well, I just couldn't get enough this song and had to listen to it a few dozen times in a row.

Just a brilliant sound and combined with your amazingly unique vocals I just loved every second of it, I don't normally go for this style of music - but you just smashed it out perfectly and just really wow!

The first thing I noticed here was Tom’s rather skillful guitar intro, - and in a non-standard “custom tuning” no less! Thereafter, the lyrics and melody he begins to sing in the first verse have all of the earmarks of an instant “hit!”

Not only is this song truly outstanding by every artistic measure, what truly takes this performance over the top, are Tom’s dominance and mastery of his instrument, which he exhibits while flawlessly man-handling his guitar with an extraordinary level of grace and swag that is strikingly captivating, and simply a pleasure to behold.

The way he drops his left hand in rhythm with the music and returns it precisely where it needs to be without missing a beat is truly jaw-dropping – along of course with his incredible finger-picking!

His instrumental bridge is unique and it tied the whole composition together quite beautifully. The false ending is pure icing on the cake – what a fantastic effect!

Everyone really needs to listen to, study, and watch this one very closely. There is so much here to be in awe of, and so much here to learn from.

Why is this song not being played on the radio? I will tell you why... Because mainstream radio has absolutely no clue what quality songwriting is all about. This song is just a treat to my ears, brilliant lyrics, excellent guitar work and a delivery that needs absolutely nothing added.

This was a naturally, well put together original that provides insight to the feelings that bring us down, yet is contrasted with the uplifting chords of your soothing guitar. If only couples within relationships could communicate in this matter to help mend the issues that tear those once in love apart. The live sound he creates as a one-man-band is over-the-top captivating, and such a joy to behold! He also possesses a quite polished ability to speak and tell stories in rather engaging fashion, all whilst never missing a beat of the underlying entertainment occurring amid the accompanying music he simultaneously performs. His original, “Lucky Man Story,” is the epitome of such extraordinary talents; there isn’t a song more appropriate to showcase the sheer wonder that is Nathan Kaye! Lo and behold, I can definitely say I completely relate to this song personally, hands down. It's hard to argue with anyone your multi-talented range in so many areas of artistic presentation, you have gripped so many's attention with this one. This was such a great original jam, and you have a skilful way of controlling the tempo and fluidity of your music while displaying your storytelling aptitude. You nailed it all, from the percussion to the wonderful array of instruments and your rocking vocals that drive this insightful message of how blessed a man can be to have such a woman who draws so much attention. I loved the section of the man doing the handstand on a beer can, impressing those who were passerbys and you were expecting something profound from him, but got the same reply. Sometimes it's like that, and this brought me back down memory lane, and I am sure these situations will be expected to occur in the near future. I have a beautiful wife by my side, we met in San Francisco, had many walks throughout the city just like your song describes lol go figure right? Perfect song for us. This song was just a nice reminder to tie it all in and with the skills you have honed and perfected, let's just say the women could have been talking to your ex about you, the way the men were speaking to you about her as well. lol Thanks for this super energetic and memorable entry. I have to admit Nathan is the definition of a show man, I've been so entertained by his entry this is the third time playing it today for me, and its 7 minutes long. Aside from the pyrotechnics and the musical somersaults, what I love about Nathan is his ability to transmit emotion, I felt as if I was there, as I saw it too and I'm just watching him tell the story to my friend who did not see these events.

You have to treat yourself and feast your eyes and ears with his performance. I would suggest to not be drinking while you do, specially around minute six. I spat my drink out the first time, it was just hilarious!! - @meno
