Hi steemians, this is my entry for this week's edition of the steemit openmic. A jazz tune by Joseph Kosma. I would like to use this as a medium to call back those openmicers who stopped taking part for one reason or the other, for them to come back and feel the fun again.

The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sun-burned hands I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling
