@rgeddes That's awesome info! I'm still new to the uke, and since it is not my primary instrument, I've been learning blues scales all over that thing, so honestly it doesn't surprise me that it was used in jazz music. Since it always has a seemingly light connotation as an instrument in general as result of its use in island and reggae music, I was really surprised how much I enjoy using it in minor ways rather than major, and I really enjoy the sadness I'm finding in uke tones. So good.
