This is a song about not wanting to let go of something that I knew I had to release.
Letting go can sometimes be difficult even when you know that you will feel better in the end.

I am utterly speechless. When someone can make a song so relatably chilling and resonate within my music soul, it brings me to a deeper dimension of self reflection. Thank you so much for sharing with us such a beautiful song. Although it may be an old piece as you say, it is forever constantly impacting and powerfully inspiring. Your ghastly somberly smooth vocals with the suspensefully momentum building piano runs are a ridiculously amazing combo. One of the best original entries, I always show respect and love to other original artists/musicians, you did wonderful this week. Do you have a professional recording of this perhaps?

I am glad to have given you that inner reminder of why we both do music, we never know who is listening to our music, we know the power of our words and how we perform them, but unless someone reacts outwardly and not just internally, it is easy to slide into a distant realm of indifference and uncertainty. I look forward to hearing more of your music, and it isn't all for nothing, I too sometimes feel the same, until I am reminded again what a difference I have made in someone's life.
A song's impression and effect can be fleeting and temporary, or long lasting and deeply embedded into the mind heart and soul, your music is of the latter. Keep creating, sharing and putting forth your artwork. Only good will come of it.

I look forward to your feedback on my music, I do mainly R&B/Soul and Hip Hop and experiment with other genres often when I am producing or composing, I'll be checking out more of your other songs when I get the chance
R&B/Soul was some of my biggest influences when I was little, although you can't hear it in my music now. lol
I just posted my performance of a classical piece. I recorded it at work with my phone so the sound quality isn't great. I made the video look kind of like an old movie to match the sound quality!
I mentioned in my other comment that your recent songs wouldn't play when I tried to listen, I'll scroll down on your page and try some others. :-)
