Lol. If you want to "make peace, " as you say, you'll have to do a bit better than this passive-aggressive, biased, patronizing attempt at diplomacy... I've had someone I've never met in person tell me that that rendition of "Wind Cries Mary"--the performance in question--was "The best they'd ever heard." Just saying. So your statement that "maybe it was not so exceptional" is just ridiculous and frankly a pretty pathetic attempt at a subtle cut-down. It was definitely "good enough," if you wanna get "technical" to be included amongst the "chosen" On that note--you wanna get pedantic--it seems our "host" cannot even tell the difference between the titles (words) "Wind Cries Mary" and "Little Wing," let alone their musical composition--if you poured over the texts as you say: you will have noticed that little gem where he states that my blogpost--not even to the contest, a totally different song called "little wing" is my, what he says, "third attempt" at the "same song," "although a different performance," (blah blah..) I mean, seriously? SERIOUSLY?! My upload of "Little Wing" had nothing to do with the openmic contest, and was a totally different song lol (yeah yeah, enter in your musical critiques--look, I'd like to see your version of Hendrix--that's what I thought. Even still--the thing is: I DON'T CARE. Look, I had an unpleasant experience with the current openmic as per luzcypher's lead--I wrote about it--I've moved on--I haven't gone out of my way to say or do anything else about it--I've just continued on playing music on STEEMIT, which, last I checked, is distinct from the currently-operating "steemit openmic", luzcypher, etc. I'm not one to "just respect someone" because someone else does or says I should. From what I experienced, I didn't like how I was treated. Yeah, so what? So I wrote about it. And I guess because I'm not a total illiterate moron (which also seems to be held against me around here for some reason--I've probably already lost 2/3rds of you by now lol--blah blah it's "how I go about it," I know... life is short. I don't have a lot of patience for social 'pleasantries' especially bullshit ones. Sorry) . Just gonna move "over here" as I told Mr. Luzcypher almost a week ago. Since which time I've been mocked, patronized, made to defend myself --sometimes in languages I don't even really know--it's been tough--BUT I still believe what I had to say has some validity and people should know about it. (Hence, more than likely, why we're even having this conversation--if it hadn't "ruffled some serious feathers" i.e., made people maybe gasp ask questions... no one would have really noticed... I've said everything I need to say--I am not the one who needs to be acquiescing to luzcypher--And I don't really see any resolution here where I can reasonably "come back" into the luzcypher steemiit openmic "fold." And that's okay! Unless... you plan to continue harassing me...
