Digging your artistry, from the whistling to the imaginative songwriting. I feel like you're singing about a grasshopper, but maybe something super-human too. Listened twice, because I enjoy it so much–especially the upbeat part at the end. Keep thinking you're channeling Jerry Garcia.
Thanks man! I will take grasshopper... I think I was envisioning more of a damselfly larva scenario but as I said I wanted to leave this one open to interpretation as I think the lyrics have some broad applicability to us all.
You are either the second person recently to mention the Jerry Garcia comparison, or possibly you were the first person as well... did you comment similarly on one of my previous songs? I can dig it - it is pretty high praise!
