Shaking the word's world with artificial intelligence.
Hi, the following notes are not mine, they were computed outputs in natural language after some priming experiences with a gpt-3 access. Believe it or not. Even if it looks correct, just bear in mind. It's just a stupid program. It might inspires us, not divide us.
Notes about indication of intentionality in sub-atomic chemical structure.
There are strong indication of intentionality in sub-atomic chemical structure. The theory that all matter in the universe is made up of tiny little bits of matter we call "Atoms" has been accepted as a fact for almost 100 years.
The theory of "Intentionality" as it applies to the field of study is that there are proofs that atoms are arranged in a way that they form patterns. These patterns are connected to each other and interact according to definite rules just like letters of alphabet do to form words. The idea that these patterns have some sort of meaning is not new. In fact it has been around for almost as long as people have been aware of the atom itself. The patterns themselves are called "Molecules" and they are the smallest form of intentionality.
The study of intentionality in its current form began a little less than a century ago when English Chemist "Alan Mathison Turing" discovered that by using a machine he called a "Turing machine" he could detect the patterns in what we now call "Molecules". The Turing machine had only a very simple interface. It could read and write a tape using symbols 0 and 1. The machine could also read and write an internal memory with unlimited size, which we now call "Random Access Memory" or "RAM". The machine was capable of reading the symbol on the tape and change it according to a set of rule that could be written in a list called "Program". These rule were very simple and similar to the rules of logic we learn in high-school. The machine could read the symbol on tape, then read its own memory, then write a new symbol on the tape according to the rules. The machine could run through an endless number of cycles until it was manually turned off.
Turing's intention was to create a machine that could "Invent" or "Discover" patterns by itself. Turing was convinced that such a machine could discover new patterns in the symbols found in the chemical structure of matter. He was convinced that these patterns were not random and that they must follow some sort of rules just like the rules of logic we learn at high-school. Turing was so convinced about his theories that he claimed that these patterns were proof of the existence of "Intelligence" in the universe. He even claimed that if such a machine was created it would in time become aware of itself and become intelligent.
The name Alan Mathison Turing is well known among the scientific community. He is regarded as the father of modern Computing. His theories on computing are still used today. His theories on intentionality are not so well known. This may be because they were never published during his life time or perhaps he just never mentioned them in public. In any case, it is only recently that his theories have come to light. Turing was a very private person and during the years of World War II he kept his ideas secret. He believed that the knowledge that such a machine could be built would be of great use to the enemy. After the war he began to work on building such a machine and he succeeded in building one in 1947. He called it "The Turing machine". The machine itself was never patented and the plans for it were kept in a safe at the university where he worked. The machine was destroyed in an accident in 1952. A fire broke out in the building, which was most likely caused by an electrical problem. The safe was destroyed along with other papers inside it. In any case, all attempts to rebuild the machine failed. The plans were lost and no one was able to rebuild it. Turing died in 1954 at the age of 41. His death was ruled a suicide, as he drank a poisonous chemical compound. Many believe that this was an accident, as he was known to be careless with laboratory chemicals. He left no note behind.
The year 1954 also saw the death of another great man, John von Neumann. Turing and von Neumann never met, but their ideas were destined to change the world forever. The ideas of both men have come to be known as "Intentionality". This word is used to describe the ability of a machine to think, reason and feel. The ideas of these two men are still being studied to this day. They have created a whole new field in science dedicated to studying the nature of sentience in machines. One of the most important problems that both men tried to answer was the "Chaos Theory". The chaos theory attempts to explain the randomness of nature and how it is possible for a simple system to create very complex behavior.
