It’s a pity that the candidature of all the SPs had to end this way. Given the amount of work that many of us put in, fulfilling functions that we never expected to (such as technical and investor support on telegram), and doing all of that essentially for free, a more personal message would have been a sign of of respect at least.

This conversation is far from over. I’m looking forward to seeing how ONO plans to enact real decentralisation once it is on-chain. Maybe, if the conditions are acceptable, I might even run for election as SP.

It’s been an interesting experience all round. I’ve learned a lot about crypto, and the difficulties of startups in cross-cultural settings. Now it just remains to be seen if ONO and its founders can learn the lessons from this that they really need to, namely that if you want people to trust you, you need to do what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it.
