Ono DApp and its functions

Maverick does a stellar job of giving a no-frills breakdown of the ONO demo. The app promises to be very robust but user-friendly first. Internal functions like chat, myBox, and wallet are just a few things we're looking forward to.

One of the things that we didn't have in Steem was a chat function. We had to rely on the memo system and using a third party application like Steem.chat and of course Discord.

Sometimes you just want to talk to someone and Ono has the function and the beauty of it is since it is an end to end encryption the message is safe.

The sender creates a message, the server and nodes encrypt it and temporarily saved and then sent to the receiver and once received and read, the data is removed from the server and will only appear in the mobile device of the sender and receiver.

What's ONO everybody ask, but I will tell you WHY ONO!

Lord Faustus takes a different perspective than most in his writing about ONO - in this article, he focuses a bit on what makes ONO special, but even more on what many of us are probably already thinking... why NOT give ONO a try? We have the opportunity to get involved with a social media at the very onset - like the first users of Steemit or the early-adopters of Bitcoin. I mean... why not? 😁

ONO: Welcome To The Virtual Bar / Thoughts On Balance

Ruben may have more hours in the day than most of us... except for Ke and @stellabelle. 😉 He's been busy creating graphics, publishing stellar ONO articles, and working with the ONO Builders team to bring ONO Global to the masses. In this article, he touches on finding balance in a variety of instances, especially relating to power and equality, two major cornerstones of the ONO ideology.

I love the idea that there can be rotating power. Where an authority figure delegates their influence to others. And gives power to a fresh set of eyes.

I like the idea of letting the community speak for themselves allowing the listener to chose ideas that are just right.

I can only think of one area where I could carry out this centralized way of thinking, and I have been fighting very hard to make sure I don't give in to that pressure. But there is most certainly more that I can do. And this pressure to further decentralize or distribute power, in the end, is reminding me to do good things.
