A post-Brexit trade deal involving the U.K. and U.S. may be at risk if Donald Trump will not get invited to the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as stated by the writer of a controversial new novel about the U.S. president.

Michael Wolff told the Mail on Sunday which Trump would resent any snub along with the so called particular relationship could be ruined unless he "has what he needs."

Trump "does not enjoy being snubbed and wishes to be the middle of attention all the time," Wolff said. "Trump's foreign policy philosophy is straightforward: You Brits suck him up and enlist in anything geopolitical fantasy he's going, he will provide you exactly what you need -- although only if it does not hurt him. It's not too much vengeance, instead 'you flatter me and I will flatter you.'"

"When the Brits give him exactly what he desires he'll appreciate the Brits," Wolff said.

Trump is believed unlikely to be invited to the royal wedding since Prince Harry is buddies with Barack Obama.

But, Trump is supposed to pay a visit to the U.K. at 2018 for a country visit.

"He sees the Queen reality TV show stipulations. That is the Trump modus operandi.

Wolff, whose novel "Fire and Fury: Within the Trump White House" was disregarded by Trump as "dull and untruthful," also asserted that Trump didn't understand what Brexit was in the period of summertime 2016 referendum.
