The idea of streaming local media to many devices that’s portable and without any cables is an attractive premise. The GOSPACE Supercloud showed glimpses of brilliance doing exactly that – when it works, it’s liberating to share with friends and family. But that’s overshadowed by a half-baked, underwhelming app experience, fundamental heating issues and middling hardware. For those hoping this may be the wireless portable storage you were looking for, you’re better waiting it out.
I wanted it to work. I love the idea of effortlessly sharing movies with my family and friends, without worrying about data. I also wanted it to use it in my workflow, transferring shots and footage to my laptop without the need to connect any wires. I saw a lot of potential in the GOSPACE SuperCloud.
