VLOG 8 : What to do with my money, what i've been up to?
I don't know where to put my cash, help me decide what will be best for me.
If I invest in myself, I can make all sorts of cool content from shopping, I can have an easier time making my art and music, and I will have more gear for better videos.
If I don't, I have to deal with what I have now, but if the market picks up it might be a great spot to be in.
But I would also like to be able to live a little fun too, I won't have a very nice holiday if I invest XD Maybe only a bit?

Some perfect gear for streaming your holiday/vacation moments anytime sounds like a great deal.
Holiday / vacation XD I haven't been on holiday in two years! I don't know if I even like holidays too much, between school I just work. I get too bored, unless I viewed the vacation as a means to an end I doubt i would go on one anytime soon LOL.
Maybe if i become good enough at video i will just go to shoot videos LOL. in that case, great idea!

I had a problem loading your video on DTube. I was unable to watch it. But I can watch other videos. Maybe, there was a problem with uploading?
Edited. I don't know what was the problem, but the video is OK now, but I still was unable to watch it till the end due to low i-net connection.
Anyway, I'm not sure what money you're talking about (Steem/Steem Power / or USD), but it should be obvious that the best option ever, of course, is to give them all up to me ) (I'm joking, of course)
I'm reading one book by Jim Rohn. He said there about one rule when we are talking about money. It's called 70/30 rule.
70% is for you (especially for your self-education (cool books...)).
10% is for charity (there should be some accounts on Steemit for this purpose as well (and there should be some scam accounts with similar purpose as well, unfortunately)).
10% is for investment (which should help you to become financially independent) (which is in the context of Steem is delegation. Personally, I've delegated to StemQ some of my Steem Power, maybe you should try too).
10% is for savings account (and we do have "SAVINGS" option here on Steem).
This was just my vision, my little recommendation.

and thank you for the suggestion! I dont know if 10% (100 bucks) will be especially useful on the blockchain but I'll think of it, it will leave me with more to spend on fun stuff and better gear!

look at this way, 100$ of steem now is like my first 6 months of posting here. it was worth more then but that is the amount of steem. also 1000$ a month here is like almost a dream job so :)
I could put 100 down, I already put like.. 200? Into steem. But it will still only get me like, I think... 300 and something? SP out of it. That doesnt make me much more than a minnow. I have 1100 right now but only because I had a large delegation given to me. 350 or whatever is already from myself xD
I dont know if buying myself all into near dolphinhood would be a good investment but it seems so far most people would rather the physical material stuff than this which does make sense. That's me putting away all the money from working over the holidays to just investments that wont pay back for months.
Starting my last semester of school I wouldnt have much to show from Christmas time haha.
And yeah it is probably good to a lot of people over the world, but its Canadian dollars, so it's about 75 cents to an American dollar. I also live in British Columbia, which is the most expensive place to live in Canada and a lot of the world, and that's me working 31 hours a week, which isnt gonna last cause I gotta finish my last semester of school in January.
So it's back to 15 hours a week for me then, this will be the most money I will have for a while xD

personally i'd always go for investing in yourself and screw the holidays 😆
i'd go for the long term future but it's up to you ofc.
Only tricky part is there is multiple ways I can look at the long term! If I go for investing "in myself" I can make better content and in general be happier, that also affects the long run in terms of content.
If I invest just in other things like currencies or crypto or stocks, I'll get more money later but I'll be in the same boat as I am now, low "quality" (in terms of resources) content.
Right now I'm thinking on splitting it. We will see. Thanks for checking me out tho!

Yes! I am thinking so too. Though my view of a "content investment" will probably raise some brows, at least I'll be honest in my pursuit of a certain genre and type of content xD
