How can China take over the world?
During my last holiday trip, I grabbed a book that I could hardly find in New Zealand's bookstores: it's an insight into Xi's vision and China's governance. It's a million dollar deal for me because it's worth reading in order to grab an insight into how Chinese becomes richer and richer in nearly all aspects.
After last week's Xi's visit to Cambodia, it is notable that China is always wise in investments. How on earth Cambodia with roughly 16 million population wins the heart of Chinese Xi? China's capital investment in Cambodia, according to South China Morning Post, accounts for 20 per cent of its capital spending. This means China invests more money in Cambodia than all other countries combined.
One vital vision for Xi's leadership is to invest and repay its overseas compatriots, so they can be as rich as current China. But why does Xi envision such a long term and daring investment in so many countries around the world?
Chinese population is so huge and therefore it's wise to advise its people to seek opportunities abroad. Building good infrastructure in the invested countries will help and facilitate Chinese overseas of up to 2 billion people to gain more prosperity. Such overseas investment will make the next Chinese generations there feel more proud of their rich culture and love their motherland more.
One other reason that China is always keen on overseas resources is that during 1911 Chinese revolutionaries against Japanese invasion, China relies heavily on its overseas people's donations while it was poor. In sum, China has got visionary leaders who understand the power of sharing through thick and thin, thereby creating trust amongst themselves. China understands that if he can make its people rich around the world; it can also take over the world through win-win foreign policy and international cooperation.
