DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE RICH AND THE POOR IN THE SOCIETY
Let’s get to know the meaning of a society; a society as we know is a group of people living generally together in organized communities, with laws and traditions controlling the way that they behave towards one another, they can further be seen as people who live in a particular country or area or people who belong to a particular time. In a society, people are divided into three classes. We the upper class, the medium class and the lower class. In as much as you are a living being existing on earth, you are categorized under one of this class. The upper class will always say; you belong to the medium class, while the medium class will always say; you belong to the lower class; were as the lower class will always say; you belong to the upper class or vice versa. A society can never be made of only people of the upper class or only people of the lower class. That is why everybody will never become Medical Doctors, Engineers, Business Men, Nurses, Carpenters and Tailors etc. Everybody is always a doctor in his own field likewise you can equally be a patient in another person’s field, be it medical, technology, engineering or even educational field etc. This actually depends on your dexterity in life. People may see education as the only key to achievable success, it will only aid success.
The society will always have rich people and the poor people. Rich people are often referred to as people who own a lot of money, properties or valuable possessions. While the poor are often referred to as people who have little money and few possessions. But the poor aren’t necessarily people with no money living on the streets, they are referred to as people who follow the traditional paths of the society and live an average life or below average.
NB: The traditional paths includes going to school, graduating and getting a white kola job and working there until you retire. Another common way is skipping school at all and working a minimum wage job for the rest of your life.
MOTIVES WHY THE RICH WILL CONTINUE TO BE RICH AND THE POOR WILL REMAIN POOR.
a) Poor people focus on overcoming vetoes while the rich focus on lucky chances.
A rich person is always ready to go extra miles getting the best and will always try to be economical and competitive with others in order to achieve a particular goal. They don’t always allow the barrier of not having a particular thing stop them from achieving another. Meanwhile, the poor on the other hand always focus on incapacitating negatives, for instance; let’s say you have a talent in transforming woods into meaningful furniture, people suggest that you start a small business. Instead of seeing an amazing opportunity, a poor person will only see the negatives, they will only think to themselves, “They are so many persons out there with the same profession and by the way, I don’t even have a license to operate my business. They will end up abandoning this idea and still return to their dead-end job. Avoid negative thoughts and try to think positively in everything you do. Even if everyone around you is better than you, still give yourself a chance, a positive mindset and a positive outcome you shall achieve.
b) Poor people don’t manage their resources but the rich do: The poor don’t always manage their money, they tend to always purchase what is very cheap which will end up being the most expensive option over time. Let’s compare two lamp, for instance Lamp A and Lamp B and the cost of Lamp A is $3000 and is rechargeable while Lamp B cost $500 and is non rechargeable, it works with battery and the batteries for Lamp B is sold for $200. But both Lamp both lamps can still perform the same function. Most people will look at the QUANTITY of savings from lamp A and prefer buying lamb B because it is the cheapest. But will buy batteries that will be more than the cost of even purchasing lamb A in return. The lesson is that; don’t waste your money on cheap things, but go for long lasting properties although prices differs.
