Happily Ever After 💜💕
Hey guys, I know it has been a while since I last posted. I have been away for some weeks now because I have been busy with school exams😩
Anyways, I'm done with exams now and I'm back for Goooood 😊

So back to what i have for you guys today.
We all know how it is when two people are "in love". Holding hands, lingering looks, the euphoric feeling of walking on clouds, they live in an aura and their vibrations reach one another even if they are not together, the magical feelings that culminate in those two probably getting married and living happily ever after 😍
Lol, but this only happens in books and Movies (most especially disney movies🤣)
in reality there's no such thing as living happily ever after.

Being "in love" requires a lot of effort to make things work out because every relationship would have differences and hiccups.
Before you start thinking of living happily ever after, here are few things you should consider;
.
1. How Effective are your communication skills?
It is essential that we are able to convey our thoughts to another accurately without hurting their feelings in the process because what we say, when we say it, how we say it and even what we choose not to say can have a profound effect on any relationship.
2. How do you relate with your family? How do you treat your friends?
Are you able to amicably resolve conflicts when they arise? Do you forgive freely and totally? Do you get along with your family?. Your honest responses to the above questions would reveal how you would settle disputes with your partner and/or the in-laws in the future.
3. Finances
Can you live within a budget or are you always in debt? Are you financially independent? Are you competent enough to earn a living? The truth is that if you cannot mange money well now that you're single, chances are that you'd be worse off when you have bills to pay and other responsibilities.
4. Essential qualities
Patience, tolerance, and selflessness are paramount to the success of any Relationship.
Are you humble enough to admit your mistakes and apologize? Extremely selfless in caring for the needs of your partner and patient with him/her because no one is perfect.
5. Foundation
As defined by the Merriam Webster Dictionary: Foundation is a body or ground upon which something is built up or overlaid.
The "spark" at the beginning of the relationship and few months after is a powerful thing but over time it fades and all that's left is your foundation.
It's up to the people involved to make the foundation a solid/firm one. It is advisable to start off as friends, be very comfortable around each other because intensity would come and go but friendship would always be there. And that kind of love which is founded on close friendship is deeper than anything you could ever imagine.
.
.
.
Before you decide to sweep someone off their feet, be sure you are mentally prepared and strong for the responsibilities that come along with being "in love". I can't assure you a "Happily ever after" like the movies but I do know that you'd find happiness if you're prepared. 😊😊
