After nine years behind bars, OJ Simpson will be released from prison. The former 70-year-old American football star who has been imprisoned since 2008 for his involvement in an armed robbery in Las Vegas will be released early, the Nevada Parole Board said, this Thursday. The latter voted unanimously, and famous detainee No. 1027820 , aged 70, could regain freedom as of October 1 of this year. The end of his conviction was scheduled for September 29, 2022.
