Hello everyone....
Hope you all are safe.
I know it's actually been long I posted anything, that's because I was not feeling to well for some time and when I recovered I had so many things on my desk to carry out.
Well! today I want to welcome you once again to my kitchen. Am in Nigeria.
On our menu today, I will be preparing vegetable soup,what we call in my language efere nkong.
It's been a long time since I cooked using firewood that is the Traditional kitchen. So I decided to do that today.
So sorry my pictures might not be very impressive because I didn't have anyone around to help me with the snapping, next time will be better than this.

INGREDIENTS

  • Vegetable
  • Water leaf
  • Stock fish
  • Crayfish
  • Pepper
  • Maggi
  • Meat
  • Salt
  • Oil

RECIPE

Step 1. Wash the vegetables and water leaf very well at least 3-4times depending on how dirty the leaves are.

Step 2. Cut the leaves small small,like what you see in the picture. Separate the vegetables from the water leaf.

Step 3. Wash your meat and stock fish, season it to your taste

Step 4. Place your pot on fire, pour in the water leaf and add the boiled meat and stock fish with other ingredients, stir it well and allow it to boil well

Step 5. Add the quantity of oil you desire and stir, allow to boil a little while

Step 6. Add your vegetables and stir well, I personally dont like covering my pot of soup especially after adding the leaves because I dont want the leaves to die. I prefer my vegetables half done.

Step 7. Bring your pot of soup down after like 3-4 minute of adding the vegetables. Well the length of time you want yours to boil is personal..
Soup is ready, serve it with Eba

Note; there are many ways of cooking this soup,
This is just one of the numerous ways.
