RE: Steemfest with family? Have a look at Safari World Bangkok
I actually don't recomend, shows where they capture those exotic parrots and capture those marine dolphines or seals and make them perform, they deserve to be free in the wild. But this looks like a good family friendly place, that would entertain kids for sure!!!
That's the problem with zoo, on the one hand it becomes one of the last places for our children to see some animals and it's not going to be better and on the other hand it's difficult to make sure they're treated with respect in a decent living environment. I confess to having been surprised by it because of its large part where the animals are free, enclosures and aquarium to the consequent size but hard to be also sure of their condition once the parks close in the evening. And it's the same for the shows with animals (where I'm not a big fan) which are for me more an inappropriate answer to visitors who are never satisfied to just admire animals. For the James Bond show no worries because no animals but for the others it is hard to know the relationship between trainer and animal. Anyway I found this one with a good balance (only 2 shows of 20 minutes per day per animal and decent spaces) compared to some made with my parents when I was a child.
