It has been a while i was trying to find way to convert my steem dollars into steem power. As we all know steem power can be a long term investment. Most of us just want to convert our steem dollars into steem power which would allow us to have more influence or earn more curation award and even increasing our upvoting power.

Recently i have learnt how to convert steem dollar into steem power faster and easily by my good friend @rifkan . I thought why not making a post about it. Though i am new user, i think most of guys already know how to do it. I hope there still exit someone who dont know how to do it and this post may help them :)

So here it is :

First of all, we have to wallet menu option. There we have STEEM POWER and STEEM DOLLARS options. Our goal is to convert steem dollars into steem power. As shown in the picture below we will click steem power option where we will find Buy option and we will click there .

Once we click in Buy option, it will take us BlockTrades page where we will do our convertion. We will need to enter steemit user name. In 'send' we will choose steem dollar currency and in 'receive ' we will choose steem power as shown in the screenshot below

we can easily enter how much steem dollars we want to convert. Once we enter a valid steem dollars , blocktrades will show how much steem power we will receive for that amount. Here i entered 10 steem dollars which will give me 11.043 steem power. Then we should click Get Deposit Address which will take us another page shown on screenshot below. We will need to enter our steemit user name again.

After clicking Transfer Using SteemConnect we will go to steemconnect and we will just need to click continue.

Now we have to log in to SteemConnect to confirm and verify the operation. It is important to remember we can access all steemit website though single steemit account. so we wouldn't need create new account. As you can see from screen shot below i again enter my steemit user name . But in password option , we have to enter active key

once you successfully enter you active key and click sign in , you are done with your steem dollars to steem power conversion. You can verify it from your wallet. You can also check it from your history . I showed here a screen shot of my own history.
